Most artists are losers in real life though. If somebody identified NPCs back in the 19th century then that's notable regardless of who said it. Saying "gay so statement is invalid" isn't really exercising free thought either, it's just taking the left's perverse playbook of "gay so 100% fact checked and brave" and inverting it, then following the inverted form of the perverse thinking that's ruining everything at the moment.
