A Brave New World, possibly Point Counter Point of u like long heavy reads. A Brave New World as well as 1984 by Orwell are done a great injustice by being marked as a book for the high school reader. After having an influential HS teacher recommend them while younger, I re read both those books in my mid to late twenties and the little worldly experience I gained in that time since the first reading completely changed my perception on the just how socially transformative those books are to older readers. Do yourself a favor and take a dopamine detox and read them. You will thank me later.
Ps. Technological Slavery by Teddy K will also change you and how you view the world and the inhabitants of it. Highly highly recommend to all
Read brave new world, revisited
What’s the difference? I tend to only buy physical copies of books that are first edition or pre ww2 if possible
It basically explains how this is the actual plan of the elite class for society
