Easily one of the best humans to come to earth. He and Bob Ross most likely command whole galaxies on the other side...

Everyone thinks Crocodiles were Steve's favorite animal but really he had a soft spot in his heart for Stingrays

I believe there is a conspiracy to suppress Irwin's content.

We live in the day of streaming content and streaming services. Literally everyone on the planet loves this man and misses his show. A few years back I wanted to share the show with my kids. I went looking for it on Netflix/Amazon/Hulu/etc/etc and discovered that it is simply not available. In this day in age this does not happen with out artificial suppression.

My Theory: His family feels that his method of interaction with wildlife got him killed. They own the rights to the old content and have decided to keep it all out of the public eye because they are afraid it will lead his fans to act unsafely.

Crikey, mate. He was a beauty!

Dude was cool. High energy, but I would have liked to hang with him over a quiet evening and a few beers to hear some stories.

He was my childhood hero for a while, made me want to become a herpetologist. I used to walk the woods all summer looking for lizards and snakes to catch, good times...

We do. Check my profile's badge (many old poalrs have it).

Oh no fucking way! How does one go about earning that badge?

That was a badge I designed after a poalcast where we talked about Steve and his legacy that ended up hilariously.

I'm glad to know he is remembered by many. Why do all the good ones die young?

Steve Erwin was a top bloke.

He died doing what he loved...getting impaled by a manta ray's tail.

He died like he lived, with animals in his heart
