The way home is broken. There is no way home. Like it or not, one side burned the bridge back. So their only way is 'forward'. We could perhaps start to repair the bridge, but malicious interlopers will start a fight every time. So long as there is a third party (government and media) spoiling for a fight, neither side will ever be able to fix anything. That is just the crude terrible logic of history. Theres always that one asshole intent on pitting two sides against each other.
