Edit: most definitely not. Born in 1908 William Jenner was a McCarthyite

I wondered that too. Bruce used to be the symbol for masculinity in America, until he got entangled in a witches coven and got emasculated.

Google "William Bruce Jenner" and his dopey mug as a woman is pictured. It's pretty funny IMO

It is a shame. He was on Wheaties! It doesn't get any more American than that
