Sounds intriguing and yes there is something to the 20th amendment as well. Everyone thought that the Dems were going to delay the election past jan 20. This looks very possible. I believe they wanted to appoint a Pres/VP. >The 20th Amendment to the Constitution states that “the terms of the president and vice president shall end at noon” on January 20th. This means that Trump and Pence’s term in office officially comes to an end. The Constitution also states that if a president elect or vice president elect are not chosen or fail to qualify “before the time fixed for the beginning of his term” (12:01PM January 20th), that “Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a president elect nor a vice president elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as president, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a president or vice president shall have qualified.” From a post I made August 5th: >If the results of mail-in voting can be successfully delayed past January 20th, both the president elect and vice president elect fail to qualify by the constitutionally appointed time. Congress, by law, can then appoint an interim president to the oval office. The line of succession means that the speaker of the House, NANCY PELOSI, can be appointed interim president. Or whomever. So everyone knew this was the plan from before August.
