Now imagine this on a large scale. Imagine someone saying, I think we should allow homosexuality and pedophilia. No one is allowed to downvote, but all of the persons friends comes in and upvotes it nice and high. A random person walks in, new, fresh, inexperienced with the world and they see this highly upvoted statement and they think, oh ok, this must be normal. I'll agree.

Freedom of speech also means evil people are entitled to spread their message. Anyone who wants to give them a voice is retarded. What people should be doing is taking control of censorship themselves and using it on evil. Part of this whole free speech crusade in the west has been pushed by the very people who are against it. By forcing you to allow them to talk and ignoring their opponents, they can spread their message to other people who are new, on the fence or never cared in the first place and there. Which is most people. And there is nothing you can do about it. If the media says people should believe X, then you have no right to stop them. You could try and convince people, but what a waste of effort. It is easier to silence these people than try to correct the stupid masses. By pushing for free speech, you push for evil to spread. But whatever, free speech advocates never change their mind anyway. It is a one track mentality in a narrow tunnel. I have even had them agree with me, but still believe free speech is the right way to go. You can only laugh at people who both hate humanity, but put so much hope in the fact that people will make the right choice. Its brain damagingly stupid.
