As a result of this, every time we object to a thing being done by government, the socialists conclude that we object to its being done at all. We disapprove of state education. Then the socialists say that we are opposed to any education. We object to a state religion. Then the socialists say that we want no religion at all. We object to a state-enforced equality. Then they say that we are against equality. And so on, and so on. It is as if the socialists were to accuse us of not wanting persons to eat because we do not want the state to raise grain. Everyone needs to sleep...

First of all there's a difference between to live and to survive... Maslov pyramid and shit. One can hardly take care of the farm all by himself, unless the so called farm is a bunch of chickens and potatoes around a fireplace and the modern equivalent of a mud hut. And of course it would be unfortunate if that single individual broke his back because of a stupid fall while working on the said farm. And that's not taking into account the security shifts... You know, that moment when you need to sleep... That moment all predators around you are waiting for.

Anti gov people have at least one thing in common with so called socialists they hate so much; both are advocating for a social order they never lived under, and a social order that systematically looks like absolute crap every time it's been tested IRL

It's not just my opinion, it's a fact. Show me one country without government where everything's just fine or just better than the country you live in. Same deal with socialism, everywhere it's been tried it's an absolute mess
