The last thing he wants is to take on the burden of dealing with the kleptocracy when he doesn't have any support. We cannot expect any politicians to help either. They are in the same position as Trump. They can't take on the kleptocracy without risking their position.

What can we do? Question everything. Be non compliant. Act knowing you are on your own. Don't depend on government. Do small acts to help your neighbors. Stop feeding the beast. Get out of debt. Use cash. Patronize your neighbor's business rather than Big Box. Get off Big Social. There are many small things we can do to diminish the evil running the country.

Yeah, these aren't your best work. But most of your advice at the end is pretty soild, and your point about responsibility is worth repeating and exploring.

All representative government does this. It's how they accumulate power. Once upon a time we used to look after our elderly parents ourselves, and educate our own children. Now people have an expectation that the "government" should do it for them. Yet anyone who knows anything about care of the elderly or education knows that the government can and never will do a better job than you'd do yourself. Why would some wetback give a shit about your grandmom for fourteen bucks an hour? Why would some heavily indebted twenty five year old care more about educating your son or daughter than you would?

Obviously, nobody will care more for your mom or your children as much as you. The trick of government is convincing people to hand over their parents or child anyway.
