…”the great significance of the IG report is that it establishes that bureau officials’ highest loyalty should not be to the Constitution or to the public but to the boss.” (Note 1: Everything dealing with laws and rights in this country should fall under the Constitution. We have a constitutional republic. If laws and rights don’t, the courts need to get busy to make them this way!) (Note 2: If there isn’t loyalty to the ‘boss’ [DJT], Comey should have resigned – not hung around to be fired – and on national TV! He probably knows that some intel agencies collect all data, Comey’s included, and that he wasn’t loyal to DJT; his wife and family are ardent democrats, so he is probably one, too.)
Former AG Loretta Lynch, when questioned, said: “It has become clear to me that there was a cadre of senior people in New York (SDNY [where Comey’s daughter is a lawyer] and other groups?) who have a deep and visceral hatred against Secretary Clinton.” She continues” “It was hard to manage because these were agents who were very, very senior or had timed-out.”
(At one time, near election night, various media had reported that Comey had hundreds of his agents putting in for transfers because of how he and his teams had been leaning toward Hillary behind the scenes, ‘misplacing’ 302s, and mishandling Hilary’s Secretary of State emails, among other things. These agents were used to leadership from whoever their boss was, but they weren’t finding it with Comey. He had a conundrum because word leaked out about the paperwork for his FBI’s mass transfers sitting on his desk, which showed that he was an ineffectual leader.)
What’s strange about Comey’s mess is that Hilary should be complaining, but she isn’t. Why?
Comey’s recent Horowitz IG report was a scant slap on the hand, which drew “little interest in looking at anti-Clinton leads, or from the Democrats.” Why?
