Not looking at all data possible means that you and others who choose not to look at it may cheat yourselves of learning more about a topic.
A scientist doesn't cut off looking at new and different data because he/ she thinks something could be 'speculation'. A scientist looks at ALL data, and you should be doing this, too. Not recommending others to follow you because you don't want to do it.
Looking at all available information about a topic should be the goal of each and every person on this sub.
Knowledge is key.
Suppressing knowledge acquisition is what you are advocating. And this isn't what this sub is about.

The vid is worthwhile watching.
A scientist has a limited life span.
Seeking out an understanding of a video or poster's reason for linking it takes away valuable time that could be spent elsewhere on clearly defined matters, like in the linked thread below:
