No, don't know where you heard that. It's decent enough for positive news and "qstorm" type of stuff. I browse here, voat dot xyz (it appears that the voat domain is banned here, so...?), and greatawakening.win

Still a decent enough community. Seems like more people there than poal. Nice to have the small community here, but, eh? Sometimes I like the higher pace of flow that happens on gaw.win
