The Wizard of Oz is about fiat money.

Wizard of Oz (Wizard of Ounce)

Original story Dorthy's shoes are silver, not red

The Yellow Brick Road (gold) leads you out of the Emerald Palace (fiat money)

The Silver Shoes (silver) lead you back home

Emerald Palace is a fucked up place of lies and puppets, with the man behind the curtain running the show

Gold and Silver, tangible real money, are the path out of fiat nonsense land.

There's more metaphor about the different characters and the gifts the wizard gave each. It's all contradictory, exactly how the wizards of oz work today.
