If you find the truth "pithy" there isn't much to be done about it. The facts stand as they are. they aren't my "comments" Pithy or otherwise. they are events that happened. If bringing them out bothers you, you could always skip over them.

Then how about the next time you disagree with me on something we go back and forth on ideas or beliefs instead starting out with a backhanded compliment as a way of rebuttal. Can we do that? If it doesn't bother you as you say and I'll take you at your word on that, then swipes shouldn't be necessary no?
