Geez, what a screwed-up situation. That is so sad - but at least he got his old job back, I hope he's doing better.

I hope so too. Most everyone is gone, either died from Covid/vax or had to move because of rent/house prices.
I hardly know anyone around here anymore except a few and they were never friends with him. So I hope he’s doing ok. The guy who did know him has disappeared also.
