It comes as House Republicans flex their muscles, warning Democrats that they will only help head off a crisis and raise the debt ceiling if it comes with sweeping cuts to spending programs.

That would most likely mean saving money on the most expensive areas, such as social insurance programs like Social Security and Medicare.

Uh, how about cutting expenses by curtailing aid to ILLEGAL immigrants and foreignlaundering aid?!!

Cut defense and foreign aide. Neither are doing shit to improve our country. Keep just enough for us to fight and ban all foreign sales of weapons. Unfortunately this is still a uniparty run by Crystal City defense contractors so don't hold your breath. Bread and circuses while Rome burns.

Banning abortion and then cutting SS and Medicare is just a accelerating the death of the party. Tariffs, border wall, repatriating illegals, keeping corporate taxes low so the economic contraction doesn't rape the middle class would be a better agenda.

The way that tweet is worded - "entitlement programs." SS is NOT an entitlement program - People have paid into it their entire working lives - it's not some government "gift" to seniors. Why is the Daily Mail giving that impression?
