Yes, I do remember about the betrayal with the missiles when Putin said that "we trusted them and they cheated, they lied to us." Putin afterwards had to setup missile bases as well to counter the NATO incursion. Russia was not threatening anyone. Its so easy to understand why Russia feels so threatened. I look at President Putin and Minister Lavrov and all I can see is that they really want to make a lasting deal and I believe that these gentlemen can be trusted. Sadly I am convinced that its our leaders that can never be trusted, the same leaders that have lied to us and have enriched themselves by treason and betrayal. Putin and Lavrov know whom the real enemy is, and until Americans really wake up to the lies nothing will change, the DS/Rothschilds/Soros/WEF/IMF/Gates/BigPharma and the rest will continue the reset agenda before Federal Reserve fiat bank notes become totally worthless, its what they are most afraid of. One day we may all wake up and all our savings will have been converted to Deep State controlled digital currency and it will be too late. Out of the blue,Trump had mentioned that he wanted to return to the Gold standard, and then I knew that HE KNEW. It was a pleasant surprise. Years later, after kicking out all the world banking cartels from Russia when they finished paying off the last of their national restructuting loans from the 1990s, Putin did exactly that. Coincidence???

When Putin announced that they were going to tie the rubble to GOLD, that's when the banksters went nuts, they will stop at nothing now to try to destroy the Russian Federation. The banking cartels/the beast system are the real danger to all of us, all the Western nations, it is what worries me the most. Remember, the Breton Woods agreement of 1933 when the IMF and World Bank were created? The primary requirement for all Central Banks in every nation was that they NOT peg their currency to GOLD in any way that their respective currencies had to be pegged to DEBT. Absolutely - especially considering that Yanukovich's ousting occurred after he refused to join NATO, the EC and cease friendly relations to Russia. Russia offered to aid Ukraine, and the deep state couldn't have that. The DS employed very similar tactics to garner citizen support against Yanu as they did with Trump in the US - the NGOs, the MSM and charges of corruption.
