You are absolutely correct. They've got a problem because where they were once fighting just us, now (especially with all the jab info coming out) the normies, including their liberal base, are questioning things. They can't afford to lose more people, and, in order for that to happen, they have to shut down any counter-narratives. Their censorship is under scrutiny - so how can they say "we're not censoring?" by requiring eID/Digital ID to access platforms - which they know many Pats won't sign onto and even if we do, we'll be branded domestic terrorists and be blocked from posting - swo then they can "we're not censoring content, we're protecting people."

At the very least, this Twitter case and the ongoing Facebook proceedings will result in creating new "task forces" and "disinformation boards" that will 100% make the censorship worse.
