Perhaps I'm misunderstanding this article, but, to me, it looks like this ruling was about unfair racial gerrymandering. The election in question concerns only the seats for the Georgia Public Service Commission. There are five commissioners, and a lawsuit had been filed alleging that the districts were designated in a manner unfair to black voters. Apparently, Raffensperger said that the election would still be held, but the GA Supreme Court ruled that the GA Public Service Commission election be postponed because there was not sufficient time for the lawsuit to be heard and any resulting redistricting completed before the election.

The other cases, mentioned in the article don't appear favorable, like possibly striking down voter ID laws in NC.

Maybe I'm just reading it wrong.
