If you are reading this, and love this sub, you should thank @LakotaPride and a couple of others I will get to eventually. Without Lakota and a very tiny amount of anons, this sub would have died long ago. Over two years ago, or three, I don't know, I started coming here whenever voat would go down. I lurked for quite awhile. Back in those days, the only person(s) posting here was GodsAngell. That is a whole can of worms I'm not going to get into here, those who know of that user know what I'm talking about. LakotaPride actively started posting here about the same time I did. I was homeless after the great voat death, and this place was a natural refuge for me. This sub saw an influx of "refugees" looking for a home, some stayed. Many like myself went to GAW and forgot about this place. Lakota showed up, settled in, and grinded it out for the rest of us. I don't know if he was on voat, I don't remember. Doesn't matter. What matters is that when I came back, he was here with only a few brothers, a long digital war-beard, throwing hand grenades. The point is that LakotaPride has never seemed to waiver for one second. He is a fucking machine. He has consistently posted on this sub spreading information regardless of who was paying attention or upvoting. He catches a lot of shit from time to time for forum sliding by pissy anons. Normally I would agree, but when you are only one of a few posting, it's hard to not look like your are spamming a board. If the news needs put out for analysis, it needs put out. If no one else is going to do it, Lakota was sure as shit going to. The criticism never seemed to effect him, he just kept doing what he felt needed to be done. Day after day, month after month, LakotaPride has given you people something here to trust, but verify. That is what matters. So I hope you appreciate what this anon has done. He has been here through regime changes, ups and downs, and at times kept this sub on life support. I really don't think he gives a shit about any of that. He just keeps loading his mag and fires away at the ever advancing enemy because it must be done. He helped dig the QStorm trenches we are in today, and he is still in them after all this time. I'm honored to have served in the QStorm regiment with you brother, and I won't be surprised if you outlast all of us.
