Some incidents cause such an irreversibly catastrophic and traumatic brain injury even getting to the hospital alive is no guarantee for successful outcome. simply nothing can be done. Many people are taken to hospital every day/ week but are in such a bad way, even with first class care their condition continues to deteriorate and they die within hours. EDIT: Oh lol, you're suggesting she was (clinically) brain dead at the scene ??, before a qualified medical assessment could be made to determine quality of brain (wave ) function. Come on man.
