These videos are useful for showing very clearly that all the news media stars are just reading what is put in front of them. If they have any minds of their own, they are not using them. They get their script from a central dispenser and they all read it verbatim. Now and then one of these wags will change a minor word or two, but that's as daring as they get. For this, and their blown-dry hair (and selling their souls), they are paid seven figures a year.

Most of those clips were from local stations. Since smaller stations have limited resources, it is not surprising that they would outsource reporting on national issues from a "central dispenser" as you call it. Any original investigation they do is usually concentrated on local issues. That said, it may well be the case that there are three letter agencies overseeing the central dispenser.
