Haven't some State DA's or State Secutaries already publicly announced 'we will not enforce these newly passed election laws' and with the majority of Courts (and Scotus) picking and choosing which cases to hear, and then the lack of honesty or integrity in prosecutors and then lack of actual worthwhile punishment - that sounds like another far fetched 'but what if'.
IIRC, a couple State Supreme courts sided with the state constitutions, Senate and house created laws. It is a matter of getting the complaint through the courts in most cases.
The Soros funded SoS's and DAs are fighting election changes tooth and nail, grabbing at extra constitutional powers to maintain their status quo. It is a matter of contesting them through the courts to deny those extraconstitutional powers. And there is a lot of pushback going on, apparently unexpected by the DS players.
SCOTUS seems to be on a tear lately. As if Clarence Thomas took the reigns from John Roberts, so I don't know what to expect there. The Dems seem really upset with SCOTUS, so it must be good! Lol!

Not sure that means what you think it means. SCOTUS only reaffirmed States rights whether to offer Abortion or not. They refused to hear Election cases citing 'moot'. Ultimately it doesn't matter what SCOTUS says when those enforcing and adjudicating at the Local level are corrupt. Pie in the Sky.
SCOTUS upheld 2A rights, reaffirmed States rights when revisiting Abortion Rights and wasn't there a third ruling that pissed the DEM's off?
SCOTUS did pass on election challenges in 2021 prior to the fraud being forensically analyzed to reveal the who, what, when, where, how and the whys ... with paper and video receipts. Prior to that the SCOTUS cases consisted of piecemeal evidence that didn't explain the bigger picture and SCOTUS refused. Now that the steal is fully understood, and processing that tell all information through various states "normal process", ground is being gained. Eventually the 2020 election will be in front of SCOTUS again, with a very organized set of indisputable facts, with the public demanding justice. That gives the 3rd branch of the govt the power to make the right decision without fear of uninformed/misinformed mass public reprisal on top of any reprisal from the other two co-equal branches of govt.
I'm no fortune teller but I'm sure the circumstances will be much more favorable for Justice the next time SCOTUS visits this, possibly as soon as 2023.
