Yes, it sets a great precedent for reining in federal agencies.

The problem with that is most businesses and small minded people don’t care about anything except money. They don’t care about your health and welfare and safe drinking water.

Completely agree. I was reading last week about a WV town downstream from duPont where the resident haven't been able to drink/shower in the water for years because of duPont chemicals. No excuse.

I wonder how this affects the ATF?

It sets a precedent that agencies cannot make their own rules.

If i recall correctly, the ATF gets to say what is a machine gun and what isn't. That precedence pretty much tells them to fuck right off.

This is great news considering the unchecked march of Federal Agencies and their power grabs over the years.
