The problem is, the democrats can now run on one issue. You'll have hoards of abortion rights protests in places where it's already legal, filled with people that are being told that it's not. Then you'll have "savior" candidates campaign on restoring the rights they already have. Followed by "never again will we allow them to take away our rights" propaganda likening this period of time to a modern day slave trade.
