My mom who would have described herself before covid as an extremely liberal democrat, now owns two guns. She's got a shotgun and a revolver, now. Even had her neighbor teach her how to shoot and she practices running through the house with her shotgun. She had a scare just before covid - crackheads came to her door and she realized it would take the police time to get there and that's when she bought and practiced with the shotgun. Then the government started with the vaccine crap and that scared her even more, so she wanted a weapon she could carry on her in the garden. It is amazing how much she has changed over the past couple of years. She no longer scoffs at "conservatives" or is mad about living in a "Republican dominated" area. The crap that Biden is pulling is pissing her off. I have a feeling she will even vote non-democrat next election for the first time in her life.
