It's unlikely that shooting his grandma almost 30 minutes away would have put the school on lockdown or anything.

You can walk into grocery stores now that know who you are, and they can ring you up and bill you without checking out using an AI. But apparently any drugged out armed lunatic can walk into a school and shoot for two hours.
