One could produce enough hydrogen gas from a 9 Volt battery and a small cell submersed in a water box to power a car.

Okay, now prove it.

One acre of land could produce enough food to feed the entire population of the world, but it will take so long to produce that quantity over time that most of the population would die of starvation. A single 9 volt battery could generate infinite hydrogen/oxygen from water, but it would take infinite time, water and a battery that never drains in order to do so.

commenting on the hydrogen generation part, assuming very efficient generator cell, and internal combustion generator, the cells can actually off gas more fuel( hydrogen) than the generator can burn. I've seen it work on small single cylinder engines, cannot confirm scalability in a large automotive engine. Meyers got poisoned after he converted a dune buggy , running on memory here, 10-12 yrs ago?

I have seen many lawnmower engine run on H2. The H2 was made using a large car battery. When the battery was empty, the engine stopped running. I have seen an engine power a 100kw genset using a elaborate H2 generator. Part of the power was used to make the H2, charge some batteries and power some electrical equipment. Same scam, when eventually the batteries got drained the engine stopped, but it took a long time to drain the batteries so everyone thought, "wow this is it", because they didn't watch until the end. The technologies that use sound to brake down water into H2 are always at the early prototype stage, for 30 years already. Other crazy designs that you can find on Jewtube showing huge quantities of H2 being generated, are very old videos. What happened? Why did they never come out with it? 3rd world governments would treat any inventor like a king if he or she would go there and let them use it. There is so much more I could say here, but after working with these different technologies for years, it is kind of boring to talk about running a car on water.

right,I mean for the most part, and why bother with hydrogen/oxygen( because that's what comes out of the electrolytic cell process) it really can't be compressed and stored. Woods gas like a Fema generater burn wood chips and other garbage, way more pragmatic way to keep your refrigerator running if that's the goal, Ain't gonna run outta garbage.Or run some moonshine and trade it for what you need, legally of course! cigarettes and alcohol (I don't use either one) would be my bet on trading materials. I will tell tell you I have witnessed a small generator power a nightstand sized cell with no battery in the loop. Now it required a fresh supply of water from the water hose( the cell doesn't like hot water) so that's a pumping loss that was not accounted for So......could the generator have extra watts to power other stuff? not really, maybe some LED lighting. I disagree with you on the third world part, mostly because that phrase has lost a lot of meaning since the internet and cell phone , even desditute homeless have access to life changing information, it too bad they can't read.
