I had read before the 2016 elections that Bezos donated 10 million to an organization that recruited military to make as candidates for senate amd house. I think they thought the right would trust them more. These candidates should be scrutinized very carefully.

100% - And many military retirees have been rewarded with plum positions in NGOs and private sector.
