We have them! Our leaders like to pretend they don't exist. Healthcare was the first industry that disregarded our anti-monopolistic laws. I guess it snow balled from there.
I think persuing mass lawsuits against the media for damages (property damages, and emotional damage) inflicted by them fanning the flames, would go a long way toward getting congress to throw the media under the bus.
