Even techs, who drive trucks for years...with a stellar record are now subjected to CAMERAS IN THEIR TRUCKS, and pointing them on the lawn area when they arrive.

My tech is superb and has been there a long time. I can understand new techs, or those with complaints of all sorts. But that's not what they are doing.

My tech was training a new tech, (she needs to be watched?) bitching in her truck while driving, about the Ukraine war. She was listening to her radio. When she got back to the office, she received a warning that they listened to her in her cab bitching to herself, and she better not do that anymore, because she is at work and should not be talking about any of that stuff. (To themselve's?)

After I went out to greet the tech, as we have a long good relationship, and retrieve my cat to bring inside during the spray, I saw the camera. When I asked if it was on me, I was told yes. I asked if they could hear me? I was told yes.

I DON'T WORK FOR THEM!

I got angry and spoke to the camera, that I hope the guys get a good look at me in my nightshirt and bad hair, first thing in the morning as they came early and I had to get the cat. I am appalled and I do not want the camera on when they are here. I now know, because I asked, that they can see and hear me. All the guys is some office having a good time.

This tech has received extra pay from incentives due to reports from their actual customers. They are not one to need monitoring. This is not our country.

I am awaiting the manager's call to now cancel after 17 years. Interesting....

I will tell him this is conditioning for natzism and communism, and no AMERICAN COMPANY that works in the neighborhoods of America should be doing this!

It has ruined our relationship, I don't want them here filming from the street, me coming out in the morning to say hello, get my cat and ask about my lawn I'm paying them to treat. Now that I have been made aware the managers do not only speak to them about work issues they see, they are telling them they cannot talk to themselves or those they are training about certain topics. Gee, who does that sound like? And they are filming customers too, unless I stay inside to avoid the camera. Can't do that with my cat...so oh well so long True Green.

Can we do a woke go broke to help all of these workers? And ourselves? It is not just about canceling their service. It will continue, and it just cannot.

Maybe RAV could talk about this....they are a natl' company. Communism is here and we must stop it. Thank pedes...

This is a huge problem that extends far beyond this lawn company. It is likely every delivery/service that comes to our doors or even drives down our streets. It is our neighbor's security systems and ring bells. It is our intersections and stop lights. It is everywhere - and We The People have had no say in its implementation - other than our silence being interpreted as acquiescence - which it basically is.

Did you do the same when they put cameras on Police cars that drove around and took images of cars parked in public and PRIVATE areas to add to a database of location data based of license plates? Did you care when they offered this to PRIVATE entities like those Uber drivers and what not that drive around all over the place?

Or just some random "natsism" bullshit a private company is doing, likely to keep shit employees in check across the board (to prevent "muh discrimination")?

Have you read through the terms and conditions, THROROUGHLY, since they've been updated to include the fact that cameras and microphones are part of the service and by participating, YOU AGREED to it?

I think she was probably talking in the phone and was busted by her supervisor. I am the owner of a teucking company that also employs cameras ( for our own protection). I think you are being over sensitive and borderline paranoid. I had a chemical lawn company that sprayed half my lawn do to a lazy as fuck tech. I wish I had camera footage. i was told by my neighbor that he did a shit job!
