Blame Obama? Blame only Obama?

Trump had the ability to return the Smith-Mundt act back to normal. But he didn't.

Trump had the ability to enforce the anti-monopoly laws and break up Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube. But he didn't.

If you're going to "Blame Obama", you have to blame Biden, and also blame Trump. - It doesn't matter what lies the media tells you - Republican, Democrat, Obama, Trump - they're all working together to keep you manipulated as they take everything you have. Including your freedom.

An “act” implies that it was an actual law, having been passed in both houses and signed by the president at the time.

To repeal a law requires the same process, but I digress..

To be technical, it was never repealed, but was amended many times since ‘48.

The issue you speak of happened with the “Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012.”

It was passed as part of the defense authorization bill.

Obama did sign it, yes. But it went through both houses of congress before it made it to his desk. So, it’s not just Obama who is complicit, but the elected government in both houses, as well, during that time.

In case you are unfamiliar with how government works, Trump couldn’t just “repeal it” because presidents can’t just invalidate laws that they don’t like…

Now, if you want to criticize him for not pressuring congress to send him a bill to fix it, that would be fair. But complaining that he didn’t “just do something unilaterally” when he didn’t have the power to do such a thing..well, it isn’t a fair criticism.

Not meaning to pick on you in saying this, but anyone in this thread could have spent the 5 minutes I spent looking up this shit to understand it.

He made legal what the MSM was doing for years. Spewing lies and propaganda. The slightest digging by an honest media on the side of the people and Obummer would have been exposed for the Manchurian Candidate he was / is. Think of all the hell we have gone through because of a corrupt meedia.
