We're trying to get a candidate-vetting sub off the ground and need your help identifying candidates in your state.

has invested a significant amount of time compiling lists of candidates for the U.S. Senate. Thank you ! However, we still need state lists of candidates running on the Republican ticket in the U.S. House and Gubernatorial races.

Good starting places are your state's SOS elections site and https://ballotpedia.org/Main_Page

We've found that not every site is up-to-date in that some candidates have dropped out or some are omitted from Ballotpedia.

If you believe vetting candidates is important, please indicate below which state and which office (U.S. House or Gubernatorial - or, even better, both) you'll be working on so that people aren't doing repetitive work.

In your final list, please include a link to each candidate's campaign website. We do not need in-depth research on each candidate at this point - just accurate lists of candidates running on the Republican ticket (in some states this may include parties such as Independent and Libertarian.) Please provide your completed lists by midnight on Friday April 15th.

There are many different states represented in this sub, and with your help we can make quick work out of a time-consuming process.

Thank you.

Thank you - which state do you want to do? And House or Guber or both?

House Of Reps.

It goes with House Music.

Which state?

Maybe you can combine the two and write a song about the candidates :-)

I've been doing this in my state for awhile. Will contribute. Also just found a list of Soros backed democrats to add to the broad list as well.

This is a great idea! The Texas primaries were held on March 1st, so there isn't any reason to dig on the GOP candidates in TX anymore. It's merely a matter of pulling the lever for the "R" instead of the "D."

Sadly, not a single one of the candidates that I heavily researched and voted for in the TX GOP primaries won. But every single Trump-endorsed TX candidate won their GOP primary race in March. So now I'm stuck with having to vote for a bunch of Texas RINOs in November. :-(

Yes, this is a problem - and not just in TX.

Thank you, Knight.

We now have one state out of 50 and one sub member out of 909. ;-)

Maybe by for Ohio will help.

Yes - I'm well aware of that post - which is why I explicitly stated that Fromthebeginning busted rear finishing the U.S. Senate candidate lists for every state - and what is needed is lists of the U.S. House and state Gubernatorial candidates.

This is the second time today I have horribly failed at reading comprehension. My apologies.

If that's the worst thing you have to plead guilty to today, you're in excellent shape, Titus :-)

We've all done that at some point, and it's VERY easy to do with all the information constantly bombarding us.
