Catholics that I speak to don't know of most of the Papal decretals. They also think Francis is a "one-off" Pope. You know, all the other ones were good.

Catholic only means you work towards Christ-likeness, it's not a goal you are expected to achieve, but you should live trying to. The church is hugely divided now, at least 25% think the Vatican has departed from the faith. Most Catholics know the Vatican has been infiltrated since Vat2. SSPX is seeing rapid growth.
