Stalin wasn't Russian and ussr wasn't Russia

This was a quote from the OP's article link by the former NATO Military Analyst, and he doesn't say anything about Stalin or USSR being Russian/Russia, his point was about what the hell is really going on in Ukraine and addresses the past and the current day name-calling ('nazi' and 'anti-semite'). He points at that Ukrainians (all people who got stuck in the commie system) noticed WHO was in the upper positions of the commie NKVD and KGB. That this is a cultural issue. In that part of Europe the people can tell even when those in power name-changed. The people know who abused and killed them via power of a commie government. That is why Ukrainians want the people of Israel to make an apology for Holodomor.

WE in USA are not taught about how those in high power positions in commie governments were of a certain heritage. They could claim to be atheist and agnostic, they could name-change, but the native people knew what heritage and ancestry commies had and took note of the disproportionate numbers of that heritage of those in power positions compared to the general population. They haven't forgotten. But in USA you are not taught any of it.
