the fact that you think I shoulder anything like that just shows that you don't understand about what the gospel preaches. (and, that's ok). there's also a misunderstanding about how the Bible states that judgement occurs. it's impossible to get into heaven by earthly works (as we are sinful creatures) or magic spells. that's not what the Bible preaches.

I'm sorry you feel the way you do about Christ, I'll pray for you.

Okay.

To be clear though, I dont dislike the Yeshua myth, I dislike evangelical adherents of the hopelessly corrupt, violent, opportunistic, and arrogant Churches that purport to represent him.

People who talk like you, really.

It's too bad, really, if you could just keep your faith to yourself, and not inject it into topics that are not explicitly about theology... It is possible there are things we could agree on.

you're going to see it that way because you don't understand my point of view, and, that's ok. that's why we're talking, and I think that's pretty cool.

I'm not arrogant concerning any of this. I apologize if I came off like that. I read the Bible (specifically in revelations) that a lukewarm Christian is worse than a non believer. so, as a follower of God's word, yea, I'm going to speak boldly about it when I have the chance to. that's not arrogance. that's out of love. and, I'm not judging you. that's not my place.

just, understand that the only people I know who had the backbone to not get the jab when faced with losing their jobs were chrstians. I'm going to congratulate them when they had the backbone to do that. that wasn't easy for any of us who literally placed our faith on display and said 'no'. some of us are still in the process of losing our jobs over this. so, yea, I'm absolutely going to say a kind word for them, and encourage them.
