I’m what some people call a hopeless optimist. That may be true, but I can’t imagine being the opposite.

A few nights ago the stress and doom took hold, as it happens to many of us. I was in a very dark place, and you, my friends, pulled me out.

Your advice to take a break, and focus on family did wonders for me. Just shutting down and coming up for air for a couple days had a profound effect. I feel rejuvenated, and ready to do work.

I can’t thank you all enough. I don’t know what I would do without this strange, and inspiring internet outpost.

I would also point out that yesterday was the equinox, and that many people get bogged down and feel that sort of fatigue around the high days of the pagan calendar.
