Since io-io thinks the rules in the sub don't matter, I am bringing this to you for your consideration. Part of a sub janitor's job is to enforce the sub rules to prevent off-topic posts that violate the rules from taking over. Lately I have been seeing a lot of posts that violate several rules. These posts include funny content (like this one) and links to music videos with no contextual relationship to the sub purpose. Clearly these posts are not Q related and do not explain themselves clearly as to their purpose, which are stated rules in this sub sidebar.

Am I to understand that the rules no longer apply in this sub since these posts have been left to stand without so much as any warnings about rules violations to the OP? If the rules no longer apply here, remove them so more general content can be posted here without issue. If the rules still apply, then enforce them and remove the content that violates them and give warning to posters who violate the rules. If the rules are no longer applicable, I'm sure lots of other users wouldn't mind shitposting in this sub all day long. Selective removal of content that violates the rules when other posts that violate rules are left alone is censorship. The rules must be applied equally or not applied at all.

What's it gonna be, jannie? Rule enforcement or open shitpost sub?

Hey Morbo, I understand what you are getting at. The rules are a little out dated, and I've been meaning to have them revised, I just haven't had time to mess with it yet. I'm not a mod and I can't just go in and change them. This is something I have brought up to starjello though, and I will get with her soon to address it. From what I've heard, Crensch ruled with an iron fist and was rather ban-happy. I don't agree with that at all.

The issue is the "Q related" rule. Q hasn't posted anything in almost a year and a half, unless you count the "" account on truth social, which has yet to be verified. This sub is mainly an information gathering and research group sprinkled with nonsense. It's become kind of a catch-all and the rules are antiquated.

This sub is a strong community, and things that are posted here are considered by some to be "off-topic". This meme for example isn't "Q related", but io-io knows that we all would enjoy it because of our mutual hatred for Joe Biden, and how bad this country has gotten since the election was stolen. I've noticed that people who visit this sub don't stray far from here to other subs, which is unfortunate because poal has a lot of great subs to offer.

To the music videos you brought up, I'm sure you are talking about the Scotty Films videos GOTHAMGIRL posts here. Those are all Q related. They are really good, you should check them out although I know you probably won't because you hate Q. The latest one https://rumble.com/vx4289-greta-van-fleet-a-change-is-gonna-come.html is awesome, and it actually features a comment I made on truth social lol.

Anyway, I will get nudge starjello with some suggestions and see what can be accomplished. Thanks for reminding me about this.

Thanks for the reply. I agree with your points. With no new Q communication the rules aren't as relevant as they once were. The closeness of this sub's community does lead to a sort of shut-in syndrome where members don't venture out into the wider world of Poal for various reasons and group-think runs rampant. In that sense the sub contributes to their reclusiveness and distrust of outsiders which impacts the whole community by keeping the group-think going and shunning outside opinions and thought. That being said, I don't have the answer to the issue, but I do know that there is a need to change things to make the sub more relevant to the contemporary world.

I don't envy your position in this and Starjello will have to give this a lot of thought as well. I wish you luck in implementing your changes and towards the betterment of the community. Perhaps the fresher air will do it all some much needed good.
