Talking to a neighbor yesterday. They mention how the bombing is all over the news, and how crazy Putin is for bombing a maternity ward.
I asked him - Why would Russia bomb a maternity hospital and not government buildings? And why would they bomb just one? Even if they did want to bomb maternity hospitals, why bomb one and not a hundred?
- Well.... yeah..... but what happened then? Why is it all over the news if it didn't happen?
Ukraine needs to convince Europe and America to help defend it. They need them to attack Russia. Ukraine, on it's own, doesn't stand a chance, right? So Ukraine needs to convince the West to attack Russia. Well..... how do they do that?
- So you think Ukraine would bomb their own people. But why? What good would that do?
So they can put it all over the news. So they can convince the people that Putin is a madman who is bombing maternity wards and needs to be stopped. Russia wants to take over Ukraine without the West getting involved. The last thing Russia would do is bomb a maternity ward. But if Ukraine bombed it themselves, and then blamed Russia, they'd be able to put it all over the news, and convince people like you that our country needs to go to war with Russia. Right?
- Well.... umm..... I don't know what to think now....

Yeah, people don't get that Zelensky's job is to get the US and NATO to engage in an act of war. Ukraine is THE POOREST country in Europe. There is no way they can win a war on their own. So they will manufacture scenarios in order to bait countries. The US tried to fool Poland into engaging (with those MIGs) and Poland smartly called Blinken's bluff.
Also remember who Zelinsky is. He's an actor. Literally a guy who played the president on TV. And his cabinet is full of actors, directors, and owners of film production firms. It's not a stretch at all to think the news is manufactured here. I laugh every time they report Putin is "losing". What a joke.
