Elderly people in general are shallow breathers. Many take naps durring the day in nursing homes and care facilities. staff is used tot he napping.
Add Mandatory masks. Writen Doctrine of US aRmy Chemical Corp states no one is allowed to sleep in mask unless they have a breathing guard. ( a soldier watching you as you sleep in case you stop breathing) Violating this is punishable under UCMJ...
Elderly forced masks.
Depleted O2 ... takes in more CO2 ....then falls to sleep only not sleeping... (staff used to them napping dont check to if breathing )
