Yeah, i had read elsewhere (before all this) that the US was responsible for Ukraine destroying/ disarming their Nuke arsenal and massive amounts of conventional weapons as a carrot and stick precursor initially for increased Trade opportunities with the West and then later for potential inclusion in NATO. No wonder several Western Nations have all pledged Weapon shipments for Ukraine. What a cluster fck, oh well .... Edit: Ukraine previously had the World's third largest stockpile of Nuclear weapons. Which was all given up to be destroyed/ disarmed back 20-25 yrs ago.
