hulu has a show called salem right now. it's about real witches using the salem witch trials to burn and kill innocents. (mostly people who start to find out about them). I think this really happened, and is their standard MO, just like in the jackson case. If you expose thier crimes, they accuse you of it and get you fucked up. THE SRA was REAL, but they whipped everyone into a hysteria over it and had a few high-profile innocents they strung out to point at and be like 'look its all fake, nothing happening here'. however everyone discounts it, like McCarthyism. You try to look for 'bad guys' to hard, based on emotions not logic and you punish innocents, then the justice movement dies for hitting the wrong targets.
