One of my best friends loves to tell me some bit of propaganda and over time he's learned to stop ending with "I saw it on the news (TV, CNN, or other mainstream news)". He knows I will just start laughing. Then I ask him where he got his information and he will sheepishly admit the news source. Often he will tell me some very dated news that is months old because now mainstream news is forced to cover it. I've got him so he's learned to not trust anything on TV.
