So… what IS Russia doing over there? I mean, if they want everyone to stop panicking and are so determined not to do anything and not to invade or attack… why not just go home? I don’t get what their end game is.
Russia is home(to Russians). What's wrong with defending your border? You got a problem with borders too?
There’s nothing wrong with defending your border! I wish we would do it here! But that’s why I was asking, I was wondering what the fuck Russia was doing there, I didn’t know they were defending the borders. I really didn’t. I didn’t know what was going on that’s why I asked.
Another indication that this may not be anything is that nearby parts of Europe are ignoring this all together
Even the President of Ukraine is downplaying it.
Russia historically is not an invader.
But that’s what I’m asking - who has been coming over the border into Russia? What are they defending their border from specifically? I honestly don’t know - I haven’t been following the Russia situation.
NATO massing troops on the Ukrainian side of the border. Russia is responding. It's not aggressive. It's responsive to an action from an enemy.
Get a map and try to understand who is where doing what
