Anything mass-produced as a bioweapon would be likely to have a cheap, simple, and readily-available cure. The knowledge of this cure would ideally be withheld from your enemies or, at least, discredited.

Nothing like that comes to mind. I've never mect any one who's heard the least hint of such either.

I lived in China for 5 years. They are highly intelligent, but are abismal at problem solving and creativity. Their totalitarian system most probably discourages people like this as free thinkers are are a threat to the system. People like Elon Musk, Steve Jobs etc. are worth a million factory worked. Pretty hard to nurture and develop people like this when they are considered an enemy of the state.

Even if it is true, the Chinese bell curve is very skinny. They don't have a lot of very stupid people, but they also don't have very many smart people, likely as a consequence of regular communist purges over the millennia. It's the right-most part of the bell curve that really cranks out innovations in any group, and white people have a nice, far reaching right hand side of the bell curve.
