Patriot, pretty clear the Police were in violation from this ruling. Not versed on Canadian law. But there is a possibility the Judge could find the Police in contempt with failure to comply with his ruling. The Judge would be under the impression the fuel would be returned in the same condition it was seized. They could possibly face jail time for failure to comply.
