"Tearful Adele has postponed her Las Vegas residency - just 24 hours before the opening night.
The singer, 33, broke down in tears when she told fans she was delaying her series of shows which she said had been “destroyed” by delivery delays and Covid.
Half the chart-topper’s team were struck down with Covid, she said, making it “impossible” to finish the show.
“I’m gutted,” she said through the tears.
Up for 30 hours straight, tearful Adele told fans she had run out of time to come up with a solution.
In a piece to camera, she wept as she said: “Hiya, listen, I’m so sorry but um my show ain’t ready. We tried absolutely everything that we can to put it together in time and for it to be good enough for you.
“We have been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and Covid. Half my crew and half my team are down with Covid. It’s been impossible to finish the show. I can’t give you what I have right now.
“I’m gutted. I’m gutted. I’m sorry it’s so last minute. We’ve been awake for over 30 hours now and trying to figure it out and we’ve run out of time.
