Wait!

You're saying they can actually test for the coronavirus now?

[–] 4 pts

It sounds like they used "virus preparations" and looked at how exposure to the mouthwash affected them.

I realize you're being sarcastic, but, according to the article, they got these results in a lab, not in humans.

A virus so deadly it can't get past a mouthwash.

Be ready for bad press about Listerine and eventual banning. "Listerine found to cause sudden death!!"

Of course it does. Alcohol kills viruses. Are you going to inject mouthwash into the billions of cells in your lungs?

Really? Do you actually think we are that dumb?

My point was: lots of things work in the laboratory that do not work on real, live human beings. Gargling mouthwash will not get rid of a covid infection in your lungs. FFS.

If you found that excessive amounts of arsenic would poison the virus in the lab, you'd find out a side effect is that it also kills the patient in the real world. People need to use critical thinking skills.

I never implied it would. I am pointing out that you think we are so dumb to think that at all. Mate, real science went out the window years ago. All the actual break throughs are kept hidden from us. There is a whole breakaway civilization that is running parallel with our own. That's a fact.
