I just wrote to my useless senator representatives and asked them to vote no on HR1 and HR5746 (the NASA bill ) A couple days ago I wrote to my useless senate majority leader McConnell re the same.
The "NASA bill" was turned into a cloak under which the dems of the House tried to sneak in the following (https://nypost.com/2022/01/13/house-dems-pass-nasa-bill/):
"The Freedom to Vote Act would override a number of election rules put in place by some Republican-led states. It would allow same-day voter registration and no-excuse mail voting, prevent states from requiring a photo ID to vote, allow felons to vote in all states and would require super PACs and so-called “dark money groups” to disclose all donors who contribute more than $10,000.
The John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act looks to undo court rulings that weakened the Voting Rights Act of 1965 by requiring certain states to receive federal preclearance before enacting redistricting plans or new voting laws. "
It also allows dems to force taxpayers to match at 6 to 1 the funds dems raise from their campaigns - making us all dem supporters. Dems want to magnify the incumbent advantage with funds advantage over new-comers to entrench their commie butts in the House.

Great comment - wish more people would do as you did and contact their "rep" (and I use that term loosely.)
