So you can appreciate the synthesis.
If you're talking about the groups and people I think you're talking about, then yes.
I can hate the ideology. I can hate the loss of good people to their tactics.
But I can't hate the immediate goal: the collapse or takeover of the u.s. and respective western governments.
That doesn't mean I don't hate them as people. I absolutely do.
But I hate the regime more.
Waste not hate.
The wise men say.
My hate keeps me warm at night. Its why I wake up. And its why I continue living. Its one of the few things that keep me going any more. My hate for watching good people suffer, and die, for nothing, over and over again. Hatred is absolutely a good thing, a useful tool, and should be applied liberally. It takes effort to hate. And like oil, if you don't apply it, it rusts, you will become soft, complicit, and stupid.
Hatred crushes enemies.
If you want to protect people, if you got some real evil you, then the only real use for it is taking down people more evil than you. The only real use for it is protecting good people.
And to do that, you have to be able to properly hate someone or something, to know who and what to hate, and how much to hate them: and that exact level of hatred is this -- complete and absolute hatred, the sort that goes beyond reason, or moderation, or humanity, into cruelty and horror.
Someone I talked to a while back told me something that stuck with me ever since I read it.
Horror has a face, and you must make a friend of horror. Horror and moral terror are your friends. If they are not, then they are enemies to be feared.
You cannot win without proper hatred, the annihilating, all consuming, variety. It is what will fortify you in the worst times. It is what will drive you to do incredible things, against fear, uncertainty, pain, and your own best interests. It must be your daily bread to nourish you. It is the breathe that fills your lungs. It is the fire that warms your body when you're cold.
If you truly love something like America, or your respective nation. If you truly love someone. If you have real love for those in your life, and those you want to protect, then you must also hate those who would harm them. You must hate utterly and completely, to the point of being consumed by it, those who want to destroy what you love.
Hate, like ambition, transforms men into giants.
The ancients had a lot to say about Passion and its follies. Passion doesn't have to be of a sensual nature, however. It can also mean a burning desire to see your whim manifest even when it shouldn't. I'm not saying you should abandon hatred; I'm saying you shouldn't waste it.
